At this time, our shipping charges are applicable for delivery to the 48 contiguous states in the United States. However, if you are outside USA, we can give you an estimated shipping cost and upon your approval and payment of costs, we can ship the item to international customers. Our artists and manufacturers rates and offerings may change from time to time. As a result, prices and availability of items in our collection, including those saved in your bookmarked pages, are subject to change until orders are placed. When placing orders, charges reflected in your Shopping Cart, including merchandise prices, are subject to correction in the event of calculation or printing errors. If a pricing error occurs, thePepperkids.com will contact you before proceeding with your order.
While thePepperkids.com team works diligently to review the safety of all products, we cannot be held liable for accidents resulting in personal injury that involve a product purchased on the site. In addition, thePepperkids is not responsible for copyright, registration or licensing infringement of products sold on the site.
Shipping Methods and Charges
Small furnishings, décor accessories and bedding are typically shipped via ground service with small package carriers such as UPS, DHL, USPS and FedEx. Should there be a calculation error while calculating and displaying the Shipping Charges and the charges are more than shown, the team at Pepper Kids will contact you prior to proceeding with your order.
Larger furniture requires special consideration in shipping and delivery. Because these items are large and heavy, we must ship them via Standard Delivery with special in-home furniture carriers. As a result, these oversized items often incur a Standard Delivery shipping surcharge in addition to the regular shipping charges noted below. A standard shipping surchage (freight surcharge) of upto $65 applies to most furniture items. This additional surcharge is manually applied after the sale. A customer service representative will contact you regarding this additional surcharge as applicable. All items maybe subject to additional (sur)charges over and above the standard shipping surcharge and these will be noted on an item's product page and in your Shopping Cart.
If a furniture carrier is used to ship your item, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery time. Deliveries are scheduled within a four-hour window. If you are unable to meet the delivery driver at your scheduled appointment time, please call in advance to reschedule your delivery. If delivery cannot be scheduled within 10 days, applicable storage fees will be due and payable upon delivery.

We offer the following shipping options for delivery within the U.S. At this time, we are unable to ship to international addresses, P.O. boxes, APO addresses or US territories.
Standard shipping charges are based on the total price of an order and outlined in the chart below. Please NOTE: Shipping surcharges for oversized and furniture items are in addition to the costs shown below:

Shipping Details:
- Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays determined by carriers.
- Perishable gifts and chocolates, food items, flowers may have restrictions on shipping method.
- Shipping Surcharge: Some items may have an additional shipping and handling surcharge. (Please refer to individual product pages for details.)
- Gift Certificates are shipped free of charge using USPS First Class delivery.
- Alaska and Hawaii items ship via 7 Business Days Service and may require an additional day for delivery.
- If you order more than one item and one or more of your items are backordered, your in-stock item(s) will be shipped per our normal processing time. Your backordered item(s) will be shipped separately when it becomes available.
- Standard Shipping and Handling does not include unpacking and/or assembly of the item. For additional delivery options such as white glove delivery, please contact us before order placement. Additional charges will apply and need to be paid before the item has shipped. Once the order has been processed, we are unable to change the ship method.
How to Receive Your Shipment
If you have ordered furniture from thepepperkids.com, your order may be shipped via an in-home freight carrier. Most carriers schedule deliveries Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
You must be present to receive, inspect and sign for your delivery. Please DO NOT arrange to have shipments dropped off when no one is home. When the carrier contacts you, please make note of the company’s name and phone number. This will be very helpful if you need to contact them for any reason. It is essential that you contact the carrier should you need to reschedule your delivery appointment. When delivery appointments are missed, the shipping company will assess a missed appointment charge of $49. All our shipping estimates for furniture are subject to change. Please note that we are not liable for any delays in shipping schedule.
thepepperkids.com artists and manufacturers take great care in packaging their creations to ensure safe transport to your home. Although these items are packaged properly, in some instances transit-related damage may occur. It is imperative that you inspect your order carefully when it arrives. Take the time to note any damage to your furniture and to the packing materials on the delivery receipt. Do not sign the shipping documents without recording details of transit damage. (For example: the furniture is scratched, dented, cracked, fabric is torn and the box is crushed on the top corner, punctured or wet). Please make sure all original packing material is kept in the event of a return before the use of the product. All items/products that have been opened and used cannot be returned.
Upon inspection, if you find that your merchandise is damaged, you may choose to refuse the delivery. Damages must be reported to thepepperkids.com at the time of delivery by calling us at 1-206-222-2043 or free call 1.888.689.3869. thepepperkids.com will be unable to assist you in repair or replacement of damaged merchandise if it is not thoroughly inspected and documented as described above.
Freight companies are instructed to deliver items during the time frame scheduled with you, our customer. However, if you find that your furnishing(s) were delivered when you are not at home, please do not move the boxes. Contact thepepperkids.com immediately for further instructions.
For other larger items such as Strollers, standard ground shipping method is used. Once the item is shipped and the carrier confirms delivery, item is consdered to have been delivered with responsibility for the goods passing to the customer. Should the item get missed or mis-shipped (ugh !), please work directly with the carrier. We would be happy to help with tracking details. Should you require signature delivery, additional charges apply so please indicate with the need when you place the order and a customer service agent will help action the request !
Please note that there is a re-stocking charge of 20% on items returned including the brands Bugaboo, Bratt Decor, Stokke.

At thePePPerKiDS, we stand behind our products, our service and you, our customer. If, for any reason, you or your gift recipient is not fully satisfied with your gift, please do not hesitate to let us know and we will exchange it or issue a gift certificate or refund based on terms and consitions of sale.
Some of the manufacturers we carry only return items if notified within 1-3 business days of receiving the items and in the case of furniture, some manufacturers require that you inspect the items at the time of receipt and make a note to the company delivering the item.
So, please make sure you inspect and abide by these restrictions. Moreover, most furniture items are custom made and cannot be returned unless the manufacturer agrees to take the return. All custom items including furniture, artwork, other custom goods are typically non-returnable so please make your selections carefully. Some brands including Bugaboo, Bratt Decor and Stokke require a 20% re-stocking charge for returns. Please contact us with any questions prior to placing the order and we will help answer questions regarding finish, color or other custom details. SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. For Free Shipping items being returned, actual shipping charges paid by us to deliver the item will be deducted if the item is returned. Also, please note that the buyer is responsible for all return shipping charges.
(Please note that monogrammed and personalized gifts are not eligible for exchange or refund unless they are damaged. Flowers are not eligible for exchange or refund after 7 days and plants are not eligible for exchange or refund after 30 days. Additionally, we are unable to refund gift box or gift wrap charges and cannot accept them as a return.)
Returns and exchanges
Returns/Exchanges or Cancellations
Custom-designed furnishings, bedding, accessories, select gifts and clothing, and other made-to-order items require payment in full upon order. Because artisans craft these items to your specifications, thepepperkids.com cannot accept returns of custom items. Please note that items by Designers House Inc and Little House, Maura Daniel, Whistle and Wink, Obrien and Schridde, Caden Lane, Matteo, Dwell Studio, Dwell Baby, Alligator Enterprise, Designers Guild are considered custom and there are no returns on items from these manufacturers.

Cancellation of items once placed is only allowed for non-custom items. For custom items you may contact us within 3 business days of placing the order and we will attempt to cancel the order with the manufacturer. The cancellation will be applied if the manufacturer agrees to cancel the order. Please note that all furniture items are custom created items including those by Natart Furniture, Cottage Classic Furniture , Sweet beginnings Furniture, Alligator Enterprise, British traditions Furniture. No cancellations will be allowed once the manufacturer has processed the order.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for an exchange, or get a store credit - this is applicable for non custom items only . Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, with tags still on items, and must be returned within 30 days of receipt of item.

Please Note ** All customized pieces including artwork, alphabet letters, frames and/or furniture can only be returned in the event of a damaged or defective product/item. For any damaged or defective items, please work directly with the manufacturer to arrange returns. There maybe options that we can work with should the item not be as expected. So please do call us and we will try our best to help.
To return or exchange an item, please follow these simple steps:
Repack the gift in its original packaging with the packing slip.
Obtain a Item return number(IRN) by emailing Customer Service at contact@thepepperkids.com 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
You must get an Item return number within 24 hours of receiving the package. Because we work with multiple product lines, some of our suppliers are unable to return items should you not notify us within this time period. We will make every effort to work to your satisfaction. In the event that we are not able to accept a return, we will try our best to replace the item.

For your security, please return your gift with an insured courier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS Parcel Post) and retain your receipt. thePePPerKiDS is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.
Cancellations and Delays
thepepperkids.com works to ship orders as quickly as possible. For this reason, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel your order after it has been placed. If you need to cancel your order please contact us ASAP (within 1 business days of placing your order) and we will do our best to cancel your order. If you order has already shipped, please see our Returns policy for further instructions.
We strive and make every effort to ship items within the estimated timeframe. However, under instances and circumstances outside of our control, there maybe delays in the shipment of the items. We will do our very best to help with situations like these and work for our customers interests. We are unfortunately not liable or responsible for any delays.
