Russell & Mackenna Mabel Bed was inspired by a cow by the same name. YES! That is correct. There she was on the picturesque hillside chewing on some clover sweet and sturdy and our dependable Mabel. Our Mabel bed made completely of solid wood is all of the above and then some. It is most certainly and udderly Adorable. Main image shown in Eggplant. Measures Twin 80L x 41 3/4W x 47H; Full 80L x 57 3/4W x 47H; Queen 85L x 63 3/4W x 47H; King 86L x 79 3/4W x 47H. All bed measurements are outside post to outside post. Clearance under all side rails is 11 1/2 inches.
When considering a support and mattress combination for our beds we do not recommend exceeding 18 inches in height. We find that a bunkie board a 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 inch mattress platform without springs and a standard mattress work best. Mattress and bunkie boards are not provided by us.
